Elizabeth and Michael's Home in West Los Angeles became the perfect wedding venue after the original event location filed for bankruptcy. The day turned out perfectly. The ceremony was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the mood was pure joy.
Even though the engagement ring was purchased the first week of January, the proposal took place on the 24th of the month. Before proposing, Michael wanted to go the traditional route and ask Elizabeth's father for his blessing. This proved difficult as full schedules made getting everyone in the same place a tall order.
After several attempts, a dinner was scheduled at Michael's house for Elizabeth's parents, grandmother, and brother. Michael cooked for the family and while cleaning up he pulled Elizabeth's father aside to ask for his blessing. Her father's response was, "Hurry up!"
That night, after Elizabeth's family had left, Michael got down on one knee and popped the question while the couple was washing dishes in his kitchen. She said, "Yes!" and they are excited to start their next chapter together.
